I build custom replacements for expensive vertical SaaS — solo, end to end, on Cloudflare. If you're paying every month for a tool that does 20% of what you need, that's the work I like most.

Replaced $252/mo
Enrollment, scheduling, attendance, and member billing for a martial arts school, replacing a Zen Planner subscription outright. Stripe handles recurring payments; the school owns its data.
Paid app removed
Recurring memberships rebuilt on Shopify's native selling-plan contracts, with a Worker handling webhook state sync, lifecycle email, and member discount gating — replacing a third-party subscription app.
10 API endpoints
A live statistics site backed by a fifteen-minute cron sync, KV rollups on hot paths, and CI/CD deploying on merge. Reconciles against an upstream API that returns malformed payloads.
Live Stripe
A memorial fund taking real donations through Stripe, with a contact form on Resend. Small, but it moves money and it can't fail quietly.
Multi-tenant
A tenant-isolated platform with Stripe Connect payouts and a reporting layer spanning financial, student, and operational views. Built through billing; final webhook hardening in progress.
5 displays
Five screens running continuously in a church without anyone touching them, driven by a hosted control panel and a live data feed.
Fixed-scope Shopify, Stripe, and Astro integration work. Worker and D1 backends. Projects small enough to scope in one call and finish without a standing meeting.

I'll tell you honestly whether it's worth building — some things are cheaper to keep renting.
